Beschreibung
Nail brush made of oiled oak wood and natural fibre. The small double-sided nail brush is ideal for on the go. Tampico-Fibre is elastic and waterproof with a certain stiffness, but without becoming too hard, making the material beautiful and practical for cleaning hands and nails. The shorter, stiffer bristles on the top of the brush effectively access and remove dirt from under the nails. The side with long trim is suitable for cleaning hands and nails over a wide area, while the short, angled bristles on the top specifically remove dirt from under the nails.
The pale yellow natural fibre is obtained from the leaf veins of two agave species growing in the Mexican highlands. Tampico fibre is highly elastic with high resilience, at the same time resistant and is characterised by good water absorption capacity - thus it removes even stubborn dirt without irritating the skin.
The small nail brush is made of a natural fibre.
The small nail brush in the compact travel size, can be transported space-saving in the toilet bag.
Today Iris Hantverk consists of 17 employees. The main business is the brush bandage factory in Sandsborgsvägen, Enskede. Here six visually impaired craftsmen from different cultures make brushes in the old Swedish tradition. Since August 2012, the company has been run by Richard Sparrenhök and Sara Edhäll. They care a lot about the craftsmen and the survival of brush-making. They believe that many like them appreciate the feel and quality of a hand-drawn brush made from natural materials.
Their vision is to revive the traditional profession of brush binding. By producing functional products with good design, combined with the quality of natural materials and the solid technique of the craftsmen.
