Beschreibung

This bread knife from the Pomme collection, comes from a rich history of blade making and is gilded by Sizu Hamono from 3-ply stainless steel, for an elegant way to cut and serve bread at the table. The sophisticated blade of the bread knife has two different serrations. The end cuts effortlessly through hard crusts, while the main part of the blade cuts smoothly through the middle, causing hardly any crumbs.

.

Each knife comes in a fine cardboard box.

    STORY

The quality craftsmen at Shizu Hamono in SEKI produce and sharpen kitchen knives that embrace contemporary trends. SEKI's knives are special because they follow in the footsteps of the first craftsman 780 years ago. Master swordsmith Hiroshige moved from Kyusyu to Seki and began making a sword. The Seki blacksmiths and the city of Seki honour Hiroshige as the founder of swordsmithing in Seki, and the city of Seki also holds the Kuyo-matsuri (commemorative festival) every year on 8 November.
Seki has produced many skilled sculptors such as Kanemoto Magoroku and Kanesada Izumimori.
