This small Japanese hard cheese knife has been carefully designed with a slim shape. The stylish design and sharpness of the knives are perfect. The handle is made of solid Japanese Zelkova.

Each knife comes in a paper box for storage or gift giving.

The quality craftsmen at Shizu Hamono in SEKI produce and sharpen kitchen knives that embrace contemporary trends. SEKI's knives are special because they follow in the footsteps of the first craftsman 780 years ago. Master swordsmith Hiroshige moved from Kyusyu to Seki and began making a sword. The Seki blacksmiths and the city of Seki honour Hiroshige as the founder of swordsmithing in Seki, and the city of Seki also holds the Kuyo-matsuri (commemorative festival) every year on 8 November.
Seki has produced many skilled sculptors such as Kanemoto Magoroku and Kanesada Izumimori.
