Beschreibung
Sori Yanagi's durable stainless steel strainers are intentionally stamped to prevent them from disintegrating or falling apart over time. Both the bowls and the strainers are designed to nest perfectly inside each other for easy storage and increased functionality. When the strainers are nested with their counterpart, the bowl, there is just enough space between them for liquids to drain safely in the bowl.
All the strainers and bowls are uniform in style and shape, with the exception of the large stainless steel bowl with its rather round body. Yanagi felt that this large bowl was the perfect size for mixing dough and designed it to be easier to hold in the arm while mixing. These kinds of small considerations make Yanagi a truly unique and innovative designer. Sori Yanagi's strainers combine seamlessly with the stainless steel pots in the collection, allowing the pots to double as steamers.
.Story
Yanagi, who is often ranked with legendary masters of industrial design such as Charles & Ray Eames and Arnie Jacobsen, is considered one of Japan's most influential product designers and a pioneer of the post-war industrial design movement in Japan.
