The portable Candlelight table lamp by Philip Bro Ludvigsen for LE KLINT creates a cosy hygge feeling in your own home all year round. The interplay of wood and cork, a transparent glass dome and a built-in LED light creates a pleasant ambient light in a wonderful lantern look. The Candlelight table lamp is equipped with the latest LED technology. On dark winter days, the Candlelight provides a warm atmosphere and on balmy summer nights, the candle lamp is a stylish companion.

The portable Candlelight table lamp is available in two different versions. The lamps consist of a frame made of oak wood/cork with beautiful brass details, a glass dome and an LED element, which is surrounded by real candle wax and therefore has the appearance of a flickering candle.

Each lamp is delivered in a noble cardboard box.

Important: The light source of the table lamp is a rechargeable LED light, which is made of real wax. Due to the heat sensitivity of the wax, it is important not to expose the lantern to direct sunlight or other heat sources, especially during the summer. Candelight is not an outdoor lantern, but can be used outdoors on dry days.

Charging

The decreasing light intensity of the table lamp indicates when charging is necessary. To charge, the enclosed cable is plugged into the side of the lamp at the carrying handle and the USB end is connected to a power plug. The charging process takes about 4 hours and is finished as soon as the table lamp starts flashing. Fully charged, the candlelight lantern by LE KLINT creates a warm atmosphere in your own four walls for about 200 hours.

The Makers

Philip Bro Ludvigsen graduated from the Danish Design School in 1989 and has since taught at the Danish Design School and the National Institute of Design in India. Since the early 1990s, he has designed many classic lamps for LE KLINT, all with modern variations of Kaare and Esben Klint's famous pleated lampshades.
