The case of the Millisecond Metal Mass Band is manufactured using the world's best aluminium cutting technology by Takeda in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture. The aluminium ingot is manufactured and milled with high precision. The frame of the case has two elongated holes and one round hole, so there is a choice of use and wearing style. Millisecond Gold has a number of features that set it apart from other measuring bands.

The tape is 1.5 m long (JIS 1) and is made of fibreglass. It is a soft material but very robust.
For hygienic reasons, the tape is antibacterial treated.
The front and back of the tape measure are divided into two sections, one for vertical measurements and the other for horizontal measurements, which makes it very practical.
The tape is held in place by a stopper that prevents it from returning to the main body even if you release it.
When the indentation in the centre is depressed, the stopper is released and the tape returns to the main body.

Millisecond means a thousandth of a second, in one word 'a moment'. This shows the concept of the brand, which produces the products that attract people in a millisecond_fibre.
The brand was born from the Takeda Design Project, a collaboration between the design studio Caro.inc and the metal processing company Takada in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture.

The Millisecond aluminium measuring tape was awarded the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the Japan Tsubame Industrial Design Competition 2014, the Grand Prix at the 24th Japan Stationery Awards in the Design category, the iF Design Award (Germany), the 'A' Design Award (Platinum) in Italy, the German Design Award
(Germany), and the Asia Design Award (Hong Kong):
