Beschreibung

This cheese knife from the Pomme collection, comes from a rich history of blade making and is gold-plated by Sizu Hamono from 3-ply stainless steel, for an elegant way to cut and serve cheese at the table. The cheese knife's sophisticated blade has a serrated tip that makes it easy to cut hard cheeses. Suitable for cutting soft to hard cheese.

Each knife comes in a fine cardboard box.

    STORY

    The quality craftsmen at Shizu Hamono in Seki produce and sharpen kitchen knives that embrace contemporary trends. SEKI's knives are special because they follow in the footsteps of the first craftsman 780 years ago. Master swordsmith Hiroshige moved from Kyusyu to Seki and began making a sword. The Seki blacksmiths and the city of Seki honour Hiroshige as the founder of swordsmithing in Seki, and the city of Seki also holds the Kuyo-matsuri (commemorative festival) every year on 8 November.
    Seki has produced many skilled sculptors such as Kanemoto Magoroku and Kanesada Izumimori.
