Beschreibung

This rice container is ideal for storing grains or bread. It is made of paulownia wood, commonly known as kiri wood in Japan. In Japan, the manufacture of kiri (paulownia wood) containers has evolved over centuries, and kiri boxes are traditionally used to store valuables and a variety of goods. Kiri is highly regarded by Japanese craftsmen because it is lightweight yet strong and easy to work with. At the same time, the contents are protected from moisture and insects. The lid can be easily removed for cleaning, and a small kiri bowl for scooping rice is included.

Each box is unique, which means that there may be slight variations from the version shown here.
